Vango’s first rear attachment awning now updated with adjustable tunnel width adjustments allowing to fit onto Low height vans and SUVs, the Tailgate Hub is ideal for couples or independent travellers with a spirit of adventure. The perfect quick pitch for short stops, the Tailgate Hub has been designed with active adventurers in mind. Effortless attachment requires only pegging straps at the front of the vehicle and tunnel area, allowing the awning to fit neatly to your vehicle without the need for kador rails.
However, should you wish to use them, the traditional attachment options of roof bar attachment tabs, kador and a sleeve for pole and clamp are also included. Two doors in the connecting tunnel make for a convenient storage area, while Vango’s reliable and lightweight Sentinel Active 75D Fabric, ensures a compact pack size, easily stored away when not in use. The Tailgate Hub does not require the tailgate to be open to support the structure, so you can simply roll away the connecting tunnel should you want to drive off and explore for the day.

Features
Drive-Away Capability: The connecting tunnel can easily roll back and toggle securely to the awning. This allows you to drive your vehicle away for day trips while leaving the main awning structure completely freestanding on the campsite.
Low Multi-Width Attachment System: Designed with adjustable tension straps (120–190cm tunnel width), it can securely attach to the rear or side of a wide range of smaller, low-height vehicles without necessarily requiring an awning/Kador rail.
Mesh & Climate Control: The front entry door features an internal mesh fly-screen to allow bug-free ventilation. It also features two doors built right into the connecting vehicle tunnel for easy access to your gear or vehicle cab.
Linked-In Groundsheet: A heavy-duty groundsheet that can be toggled in or out. It helps seal out drafts and bugs but can be completely removed for easy cleaning or if campsite rules dictate a breathable floor.
Diamond Clear Windows: Large, crystal-clear windows to maximize natural light and visibility, paired with easy-to-use Toggled Privacy Curtains when you want to close things off for the evening.
